Because of long waiting lists even in the private system, if you’re concerned about a new or changing mole, waiting weeks for an appointment only adds to the anxiety. Dr. Bataille is pleased to offer a faster, more accessible path to skin check ups through SkinTell, based in London’s West End (W1). You do not need a GP letter and can access the service directly.

Through a unique partnership with Matt Roberts, we offer an AI-powered full-body mapping takes just 15 minutes and captures every detail of your skin with 20x magnification dermoscopy for all skin lesions above 4 mm in diameter. Smaller lesions are visible too on the body map and can be magnified too for assessment.
Most other devices need close up dermoscopy to be done manually which may miss some lesions and takes much longer. The scan takes around 10 to 15 mins. Dr Bataille will send you a report within 72 hours. You also have access to all your images via an image portal so this is useful for self monitoring or if you wanted to show them to another specialist. This service is ideal if you have a lot of moles, or you have a personal or family history of skin cancer. If you have fair skin and had a lot of sun exposure early in life, it is also important.
It is also very reassuring if you want to be seen for one skin lesion which you are worried about as Dr Bataille can quickly reassure you. If you need a referral for face to face appointment or a biopsy, in case a suspicious lesion is suspected, Dr Bataille will help you in organising either a private or NHS referral.
